The Matrix is the side that stays permanent between runs. A single canvas branching outward from the core; you get around it by panning and zooming.
Everything Is Visible at Once
Every branch sits on one screen — no tabs, no filters. You can see the whole tree before you decide where to invest.
Reading a Node
Each node is an icon ring. As you take ranks, the ring fills clockwise. In the bottom right you see the rank count, a green tick once it's maxed, and a lock badge on a tier that hasn't opened yet.
Hover to See the Cost
The box that opens when you hover over a node depends on its state: if it's locked, it tells you which tier you need to open; if you can buy it, it shows your rank (n/max) and the cost — how many cores, how many parts. A completed node only shows what it does.
If a branch is fully locked, don't look at the cost; read the tier requirement first: usually the row above won't open until you take a few more nodes from that branch.
